I wasn’t clear on your posting. Have you ported Filfre to Amazon Kindle? I wish someone would port glulxe to Kindle. Seems like it would be a great fit.

In a limited sense, the answer is yes. However, there are a number of challenges for IF on the Kindle that makes just writing an interpreter and expecting it to run all extent games not really feasible. (The narrowness of the Kindle screen, for a very basic instance, means that the status line on most games becomes hopelessly garbled.) More on all this soon, probably in an article for the next issue of SPAG.
Wow! Just… wow. That must have been a coding nightmare. Did you re-write it in Java / Kindlet language? Or …?
I am currently running a *ahem* unofficial z-code machine on my Kindle, but would love to give something like this a run. If you need beta-testers please drop me a line.
This may be the breakthrough IF has been waiting for in order to become mainstream again, or at least to be widely known in broad demongraphics of the general public!

Is this an official, “coming soon to the Amazon store” sort of app? Looks very cool.

Yes, it’s coming together very nicely. I have already been working with Amazon for a while, and hope to begin the QA process very soon.
